Q: What should I do to prepare for ministry with a Transformation Team?
A: Educate yourself. Educate yourself and your team about the trip, leadership development, and the place where you are going. The more you know, the more effective you will be.
Q: How does ICCL select ministry team members?
A: Team selection is very important to us. Selecting the right people for the ministry teams is critical to a successful trip. This is a serious undertaking for our staff and we have high expectations for all participants. While we aren't looking for team members to be perfect, we want you to be prepared to be challenged and pushed out of your comfort zone. ICCL reviews each application carefully, and seeks to allow the Holy Spirit to guide the selection process.
Q: Is travel with ICCL safe?
A: Define safe. Though there are risks involved with any type of overseas travel, understand that you will be traveling with experts in the field who have the experience and knowledge to deal with unsafe situations, should they arise. We guarantee that while on an ICCL ministry trip you will be out of your usual comfort zone and will experience any number of the following: eating something that doesn't agree with your stomach, coming into contact with wildlife, strange rashes or bug bites, adrenaline rushes. One more thing: you will be ruined for status quo mission trips.
